Athena Engineering, Inc. installed DDC controls in order to monitor and adjust air conditioning, lighting, and access to the facility. We worked under the mechanical contractor to install the control system for the energy management system. This entailed Honeywell controls for the central plant (chillers, boilers and pumps, variable speed drives), air handlers, fan coil units and VAV zones; as well as exhaust fans and humidifiers. All of these controllers are programmed on a LON network and tied back to a front-end graphical interface on Honeywell's SymmetrE software.
