Prerequisites:
2 year degree
At least 10 years experience in the construction field with at least 3-5 years experience as a Project Manager
3 years experience training and consulting in a services environment

Primary Function: The Project Manager is the primary point-of-contact for the client in planning and delivering the project solution, working to ensure a timely and quality implementation. They work closely with their regional service team to schedule and deploy the project as necessary. They track, manage and communicate progress on all projects. This role is responsible for maintaining client satisfaction during the relationship. Success relies heavily on the Project Manager’s ability to communicate, set, and maintain clear expectations with everyone involved. The Project Manager needs to have a competent understanding of all aspects of planning and delivering projects.
Typical Duties
- Conduct construction walks and prepare clearly written scope documents.
- Plan, design, implement, and manage the implementation of all new system installations and large system expansions
- Ensure proper resources are in place to provide effective and quality construction and support
- Work directly with customer regarding changes to the project scope, assessment of possible constraints and identification of solutions
- Follow a consistent project methodology with the use of multiple software-based tools for project scheduling and documentation i.e. SureTrak, Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, Prolog Manager, and electronic documentation.
- Facilitate necessary internal and external meetings and prepare necessary status reports to ensure project tasks are being completed in a timely fashion
- Prepare, maintain and submit management reports (progress reports, time recording, escalations)
- Identify, evaluate and conduct cost-benefit analysis for clients
- Track and manage cost of each project
- Ensure revenues are accrued and invoices are accurately processed through the accounting system
- Ensure the quality of each project and develop and cultivate strong customer relationships
- Provide first level of escalation for customer issues and escalate issues to the second level as necessary
- Work with union sheet metal foreman to staff and complete projects
- Complete project submittals, shop drawings, and field project packages
- Schedule equipment and subcontractors
