The growth of Athena Engineering, Inc. made it necessary to seek out a new, larger facility. On Foothill Boulevard, old Route 66, a 1.7 acre lot seemed like the perfect place for the expansion. Using AEI’s extensive general contracting experience and the real estate development know-how of its subsidiary Piper Spirit, LLC, the Piper Spirit Office Buildings broke ground in February of 2006. Building one will house Athena Engineering while building two will be leased as a commercial office building. Athena also acted as the building automation systems and mechanical HVAC contractor.
