Athena Engineering, Inc. Ranked in the Top Ten Fastest Growing Private Companies

Los Angeles Business Journal awards distinction in 2006 list

SAN DIMAS, CA, November 20, 2006 – Athena Engineering, Inc. was ranked number seven on the Los Angeles Business Journal’s Top 100 Fastest Growing Private Companies for experiencing a 266% growth rate during 2005. This is Athena Engineering, Inc.’s second time on the list, but its first time in the top ten. A reception was held at the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles on Wednesday, November 15, to honor all 100 businesses.

The Top 100 companies are from a wide range of industries, including toy manufacturers, fashion houses, and technology firms. To be considered for the list, companies must be independent, privately held corporations located in Los Angeles County. Each corporation is ranked according to its growth in revenues from 2003 through 2005.

“I cannot be more proud of my team than I am at this moment,” exclaimed CEO Jannie Chiera at a recent company Thanksgiving luncheon. “We’ve maintained high rates of growth by hiring great people, diversifying into different sectors of the construction industry, and taking calculated leaps of faith. I have full confidence that we will continue our growth throughout the years.”
