Piper Spirit Office Complex wins Commercial Buildings of the Year Award

San Dimas Chamber of Commerce Awards Athena Engineering, Inc. with the 2007 Distinction

SAN DIMAS, CA, June 14, 2007 – The San Dimas Chamber of Commerce presented Athena Engineering, Inc. with the Commercial Building of the Year award at their annual installation event on June 14th, 2007 at the Sheraton Suites Fairplex in Pomona, CA. The award recognized the new Piper Spirit Complex, designed and constructed by Athena Engineering, Inc., as state-of-the-art buildings created to be a paradigm of modernity and architectural excellence. The complex will serve as the new headquarters for Athena Engineering.

The San Dimas Chamber of Commerce is a voluntary organization of members from the San Dimas business community. Athena Engineering, Inc. has been a member of the Chamber for over 15 years.

“My parents and I have been active in the chamber for many years and believe strongly in its mission to represent businesses and improve the quality of life in San Dimas,“ stated Athena Chiera, who accepted the award on behalf of AEI. “It is an honor for our new headquarters and latest project to be recognized by an organization of our peers.“

In 2002, the Chamber recognized Jannie Chiera, President and CEO of Athena Engineering, as the San Dimas Businesswoman of the Year.

Athena Engineering, Inc. is a privately held, woman/minority-owned company located in San Dimas, California with a second office in San Diego, CA. Specialties include heating, ventilation and air conditioning mechanical system installation, maintenance and service, general contracting, and building automation systems.
